A member of IECA, Richard Kardon, M.Ed, is a therapeutic consultant with extensive experience in behavioral health, specifically that of children, adolescents and young adults. He has traveled throughout the U.S. visiting therapeutic boarding schools and wilderness programs, thereby developing a keen understanding of the range of therapeutic options available for struggling kids and the differences between them.
He holds a Masters in Education from Marywood University and B.S. in Psychology.
For over 30 years, Richard’s concentration has been in the field of family therapy, and he is equipped with a vast knowledge of therapeutic approaches, interventions and coaching skills designed to enable families to restore emotional health and balance to their lives. As part of his practice he can offer virtual counseling to individuals and families via a secure computer platform.
As a Bennett consultant, Richard will work with youngsters who have encountered significant emotional hurdles and require placement in programs that may not be typical or mainstream; students in need of a therapeutic and extremely high-touch approach, coupled with an extensive knowledge of appropriate programs.
Richard has traveled throughout Europe and the U.S. and resides in Upper Gwynedd, PA. Father of two and grandfather of two, he enjoys life with his wife and family, including the household canine, Stella.
