Tony Entwisle brings a wealth of education experience and credentials to his work with Bennett; a graduate of Rutgers University and the Princeton Center for Teacher Education, Tony holds an Elementary Teaching Certificate with Advanced Standing and an English as a Second Language Endorsement from the state of New Jersey. He also holds an American Montessori Society Lower Elementary Teaching Certificate.
Over the course of his education career, Tony spent several decades teaching in United States public and private schools, where he has done everything from developing ESL curricula to directing student theater. Prior to joining Bennett, Tony wore many hats at an outstanding private Montessori school in the Philadelphia suburbs—The Montessori School in Dresher– where he served as a Lower Elementary Guide, a physical education teacher, theater director, and Director of Auxiliary Programing. Tony’s vast experience in the different spheres of U.S. education have given him significant insight into varied types of U.S. schools and the specific needs of individual children. He is very attuned to the questions and concerns of relocating parents and, specifically, the confusion that non-U.S. families face when confronted by the many education options available in the U.S. system.
Heading up Client Relations and Communications at Bennett, Tony hits the road, visiting clients, bringing the doughnuts, telling the Bennett story and also continues to work with relocating families.
He lives outside of Philadelphia and commutes by bike, often falling off of it; we hold our breath whenever he tells us he’s going anywhere.
